TOKYO (Kyodo) — Toyota Motor Corp. and BMW AG said Thursday that they will expand their tie-up in the fuel cell vehicle business to jointly develop a new power train system.
Under the new partnership, the two automakers will develop components of a new FCV driving system excluding fuel cells which Toyota will continue to provide to BMW.
The Japanese and German carmakers will also work together to build hydrogen stations in Europe.
