There was a time when Bollywood supermodels were entering Bollywood and were winning millions of hearts with their charming aura. Among them is an actor who got a mega launch but did not get success as Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen.
Arjun Rampal, the supermodel entered into Bollywood with Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat. But, his film did not do well at the box office and got tanked. In his initial career, Arjun was seen in Moksha and Deewaanapan. Both, the films did not do well and became flops. In 2002, Arjun was seen in Aankhen with Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen. He tasted success after a long time. Arjun’s struggle continued with films like Dil Hai Tumhaara, Dil Ka Rishta, Tehzeeb, Asambhav, Vaada, Elaan, Yakeen, Ek Ajnabee, Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai, Darna Zaroori Hai.

In an interview with Pop Diaries, Arjun revealed that after doing Moksha, he did not have work and was unable to pay the rent. He was living in Seven Bungalows (in Andheri, Mumbai) at that time. Arjun said that he had a wonderful landlord, Sardarji and he would come on the first of every month, and tell him to look at him and said, ‘Nahi hai’? Arjun used to shake his head and the landlord used to say, ‘Koi nahi, tu de dega’.
In 2006, Arjun was seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Don. This film revived his career. He was seen in Rock On after two years and his performance made him win National Award for Best Supporting Actor. Arjun was last seen in Vidyut Jammwal’s Crackk: Jeetega Toh Jeyega.
