Strictly Come Dancing’s head judge Shirley Ballas gave her followers a glimpse into the work it takes to prepare for the show’s new series.
As well as heading to Portugal for a “transformative” health retreat, the 63-year-old revealed she also enjoys hot yoga.
After a seemingly intense session, the red-cheeked dancer shared she had an “amazing class today kicking off the day of Strictly launch show.”
With a towel around her neck, Shirley said: “It’s the morning of the launch show and I’m here at Hotpod Yoga Dulwich ready for a very exciting day.”
Wiping the sweat off her brow, she teased: “I can’t wait for you to see all the numbers and all the celebrities.”
This year’s 22nd series will mark Strictly’s 20th anniversary on air, and a new trailer revealed what is in store for the professionals and viewers at home.
The highly anticipated teaser shows the professional dancers performing a fun footwork bonanza, encouraging everyone to get on the bus ahead of its official return later this month.
Strictly’s launch show with welcome back professional Amy Dowden following her two-year hiatus after a battle with cancer.
Additionally, fans will finally learn which celebrity contestants will be paired with which pro and gain a glimpse of the skills with an exciting group routine.
Alongside Amy, the other professionals making a comeback include Aljaž Škorjanec, Kai Widdrington, Nikita Kuzmin, Jowita Przystał, Dianne Buswell and Gorka Márquez.
With Johannes Radebe, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Luba Mushtuk, Nadiya Bychkova, Nancy Xu, Neil Jones, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vito Coppola.
They will be paired with the confirmed celebrity contestants Chris McCausland, JB Gill Wynne Evans, Toyah Willcox and Dr Punam Krishan.
