Lady Helen Wogan, wife of the late Sir Terry Wogan, has died, her son Mark confirmed in a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. Sharing a black and white photo of his parents, he captioned it: “Lady Helen Wogan – 1936-2024.”
In his touching message, Mark wrote: “Our beautiful Mum left us last night after a fantastic life. From a young Irish rose to Lady Wogan, she was the epitome of style and grace.”
He went on to describe her as a mother, grandmother and wife, with love and kindness at her core, and a sense of humour that would leave you in fits of laughter.
He added: “A proper lady in every sense of the word. Her and Dad are hopefully sharing a vodka martini and hoping we don’t make too much of a fuss.
“We love you Mum, now and forever.”
