Antiques Roadshow expert Theo Burrell shared an emotional update on Instagram.
The BBC star was diagnosed with incurable brain cancer at just 35 years old and was initially given three months to live if she did not have surgery.
Taking to her story, she posted a screenshot from her JustGiving fundraising page, to reveal a total of £20,175 donations, completely surpassing their £500 goal.
The page explained: “We’re working hard to raise money for Brain Tumour Research, following Theo’s diagnosis of a glioblastoma brain tumour in June 2022.”
This came just weeks after Theo shared a touching post about hope after undergoing a set of scans.
The auctioneer was all smiles in the snap as he posed with pals who were proudly holding up their “certification of appreciation.”
In the caption, Theo penned: “I had my latest scan on Wednesday, and I get results at the end of the month. It’s back to having hope and crossing my fingers for what’s to come.
“On the subject of hope, I’ve heard various stories recently where patients were told by medics that they had no hope of living with a brain tumour for any length of time.”
She continued: “These assessments proved to be wrong, and the patients have continued to stay well, but the impact of the words have of course caused significant upset.
“It’s very traumatic to be told there is no hope, and this colours how you continue to live your life.”
Theo added: “Whilst our medical teams must give us realistic overviews of our cancer, are predictions of the future which may be totally inaccurate helpful to receive?
“For me I couldn’t have gone through the last two years without some hope.”
The auction specialist previously revealed that in 2021 she suffered from migraines so strong that she was unable to bend over or lie down.
In an Instagram video, she shared that the pain got so bad that she went to the hospital where she was diagnosed with glioblastoma.
